COVID Companions is a series of creative pieces featuring snippets of life during COVID-19, with a special focus on the other individuals or creatures who are keeping us company during quarantine, lockdown, ‘circuit breaker’, or whatever your equivalent might be.


Savithaa Markandu is a recent graduate from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. When Covid-19 reached the UK, she encountered abrupt changes and flew back home to Singapore to complete her studies online. It has been a pleasure for her to be home, despite it being a madhouse.
